Amanda Jansen’s experience with animals is expansive and her passion runs deep. As a professional groomer for over 22 years, she has worked with 1000’s of dogs of almost every breed. Over the last 11 years, she has volunteered blood, sweat and tears in to the world of rescuing animals. Her passion for working with animals, specifically dogs, was the driving force into becoming a professional dog trainer. After volunteering and fostering for many of the rescues in the Tucson and surrounding areas, her ability to help train and reintegrate those dogs back into a family was noticed. As she began to make a name for herself in the rescue world, she found herself working even more closely to other trainers. She started working as a kennel technician for a local training facility and had the opportunity to be mentored by the head trainer. After months of learning various techniques of training, she became a professional trainer. In 2014, Amanda opened Dogs Behavin’ to continue her work helping the dogs of Tucson.
