Meet Amanda Jansen
Amanda Jansen’s experience with animals is expansive and her passion runs deep. As a professional groomer for over 20 years, she has worked with 1000’s of dogs of almost every breed. Over the last 8 years, she has volunteered blood, sweat and tears in to the world of rescuing animals. Her passion for working with animals, specifically dogs, was the driving force into becoming a professional dog trainer. After volunteering and fostering for many of the rescues in the Tucson and surrounding areas, her ability to help train and reintegrate those dogs back into a family was noticed. As she began to make a name for herself in the rescue world, she found herself working even more closely to other trainers. She started working as a kennel technician for a local training facility and had the opportunity to be mentored by the head trainer. After months of learning various techniques of training, she became a professional trainer. In 2014, Amanda opened Dogs Behavin’ to continue her work helping the dogs of Tucson.
